Holidays at Universal City Walk. The holiday season is up and running at Universal CityWalk from now through December 23rd. Enjoy live music, perfect opportunities for holiday shopping and come and take pictures with Santa! Don’t forget to stop by the Christmas tree decorated with 200,000 choreographed LED lights. Venice Canals. The Venice Canals feature bridges that connect the sides of the canals for pedestrians to walk along. During the holiday season, these bridges are exquisitely decorated with lights and decorations. Don’t miss out on this romantic stroll this holiday season.
Marina Del Rey Boat Parade. This event takes place on Saturday, December 8th. The 56th annual holiday boat parade is a family friendly activity where you can see boats decorated with lights and other festive decorations for the holidays. The event always kicks off with a fantastic fireworks display as well!
Sleepy Hollow Christmas Lights Extravaganza. Looking for a neighborhood that goes all out with its decorations? If so, look no further than a small road, also known as Candy Cane Lane during the holidays, in Torrance, located just of the PCH. Some houses will event be selling hot chocolate, coffee, churros and others holiday treats.
The 59th Annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration. Visit the Dorothy chandler Pavilion Stage for this annual event where the many diverse community groups and LA based artists come together to showcase their artistry and talent. A number of local school’s choir groups will also be performing. The event takes place on December 24th from 3-6pm.
The Rose Parade. Since 1890, the Tournament of Roses has been an American tradition that celebrates the New Year. The parade begins every year at 8am in Pasadena and is free to the public. Make sure to get there early as locals are known to camp out along the parade route to get the best spots!
No Cover New Years at Angel City Brewery. Ready to ring in the New Year’s but don’t want to start by paying up a cover charge just to go out and celebrate? San Pedro LA Harbor Holiday Parade. This will be the 56th annual holiday parade of boats! The parade is an exciting way to welcome in the Holiday Season. Boats will be decorated festievely with lights and other forms of decorations. The event will begin at the port’s East Basin at 6pm.
Holidays at the Grove. Do you want to see a Christmas tree that is 100 feet tall? Want to spend some time with Santa Claus, take your family christmas photo and get all your holiday shopping done? If so, A Winter Wonderland at The Grove is the place for you. Snow falls every night at 7 and 8pm.
