- Weekdays in January after New Years. You might think that going to Disneyland after the holiday season is the perfect time to go, and for the most part you’d be right, except for the weekends. The weekdays in January are some of the best times to head to the park as the holidays are over and traffic at the park slows down. Just make sure you don’t go the week of New Years and the days around MLK day.
- Weekdays in February. During February, it’s often a little more cold out so locals aren’t up to heading to the park and many families have children back in school by this time so weekdays in February are another perfect time to enjoy the park. Just be sure to avoid the days around President’s Day as this time is one of the busiest at the park.
- Midweek generally anytime except the summer. Mondays through Thursdays will always be some of the best times to head to Disneyland as most people head to the park on Friday and weekends. The downside about going during these days however is that the park often closes earlier and some rides may be closed for maintenance.
- Manage the Weekends. If you find that you have to go to Disneyland on a weekend because your schedule won’t allow otherwise, Saturdays actually tend to be less crowded than Sundays. This is because annual pass holders are often blocked from going on Saturdays so they go on Sundays instead.
