There are a number of exciting exhibits that are located at the museum. While you’re at the museum, head to the special exhibit that is here for a limited time only, King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh. The exhibit was created in celebration of the 100 year anniversary of the discovery of King Tut’s tomb. This special touring exhibit is actually the largest traveling exhibit on King Tut ever! You’ll see never before seen artifacts that have never traveled outside of Egypt and over 150 artifacts from King Tut’s tomb. You’ll also learn about the latest technologies that are used to analyze tombs today.
Another limited time exhibit is Goose Bumps! The Science of Fear. Come and get just a little scared in the name of science with Goose Bumps! At this exhibit, you’ll discover how fear affects our brains, our bodies, and even our societies. See the affects fear can have on your body and take on the Fear Challenge Course where you’ll face common fears such as the fear of falling and the fear of various insects and animals. Permanent exhibits include learning about the world’s ecosystems, space travel, optics, light and sound, air pressure, biology, and more! There are also always daily offerings of free demonstrations and shows.
