Get locally grown and organic foods at the Santa Monica Farmers Market that takes place every Sunday from 8:30am - 1:30pm. The market is located in Heritage Square at 2640 Main Street in Santa Monica. In addition to finding some of the freshest produce around, you’ll also be able to grab a bite to eat with vendors serving up food such as pancakes, crepes, burritos, coffee and tea and more!
Just because summer is coming to a close doesn’t mean that the fun has to end. Twilight on the Pier is back for its 34th year and will be taking place every Wednesday from September 5th through October 3rd with the finale taking place on Sunday, October 7th. At every event enjoy performers from different genres such as indie pop, latin, reggae and more. The event takes place along the pier and it’s FREE!
The Annenberg Community Beach House located at Santa Monica beach is a public beach facility that sits on the original location of a 110 room mansion that was built during the 1930s. The mansion was built for actress Marion Davis by newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst. The Marion Davies Guest House is one of the original guest homes that was built and you can go on a docent led tour of the guest house Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11am -2pm. No reservations required. Tours are free and last approximately 30 minutes.
