At the museum, you can look through the number of exhibits that all help to tell the story of the area thousands of years ago. Learn all about the mammals that called the area home long before Wilshire Blvd. ever existed. You’ll see fossils from animals such as Bison, Coyotes, Horses, huge Condors, the Ground Sloth, Camels and more. You’ll also see fossils of popular mammals such as the Dire Wolf, Wooly Mammoth and Saber Tooth Tiger.

Another fun part of the museum is Excavation 101. Here, you can witness real archaeologists clean fossils that have been excavated from the Los Angeles area.
